Studio Door is an interdisciplinary playground dedicated to designing and crafting applied arts products. It was initiated by Luthfi Kautsar and Arieska Primanda, who aim to push the boundaries of graphic arts and discover playful ways in creating products. The 'Bauhausian Mini Rug' series is Studio Door's first product, consisting of five door rug designs influenced by the affluent design language of Bauhaus designers Gusta Stolz, Josef Albers, Anni Albers, and Wassily Kandinsky. The series aims to carry on the spirit of experimentation on form that characterized Bauhaus, reflected in the shapes and patterns of the rugs.
